HumanZyme produce il VEGF165HuXp da cellule umane adattate a media chimicamente definiti. Come mostrato in Fig. 1a, la massa molecolare della proteina in E.coli è di 18 kD a fronte della VEGF165HuXp che migra con una banda di 28kD in seguito a glicosilazione.

Il confronto della bioattività di VEGF165 è stata determinato dalla capacità di indurre la proliferazione di cellule endoteliali della vena ombelicale umana, evidenziando il VEGF165HuXp come 6 volte più attivo rispetto alla proteina espressa in E.coli (Fig. 2a).

IL-4 svolge un ruolo critico nello sviluppo di infiammazioni allergiche e asma. Attualmente, sono disponibili in commercio proteine IL-4  prodotte in E.coli con una massa molecolare di 14 kD (Fig. 1b). A confronto con l'IL-4HuXp da cellule umane che migra ad una banda di 19 kD in seguito alla glicosilazione.

L'attività biologica di IL-4 è stata determinata dalla stimolazione dose-dipendente della proliferazione di cellule umane TF-1 . Come mostrato in Fig. 2b, IL-4HuXp da una stimolazione 4 volte superiore rispetto alla citochina espressa in E.coli. (Fig. 2b).

FGFBasic-TS is a 17 kDa, nonglycosylated monomer consisting of 154 amino acids. The specific activity was determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of the 3T3 cell line.
